off topic, but have you thought about cf hood or trunk. it appears your going the most cost effective route, but i'm sure those would net some significanct weight losses.

actually you can depends on the quality of the hood.. hehe.. but whats the point.. you pay for a cf hood so you would wanna show it off right?

Yes, but you will add some weight to the hood in paint and primer.
