Some Abstract Pics... bored Saturday....

Well, instead of studying for my national and state board exam (which, unfortunately, is today; wish me luck!), I decided to procrastinate and use my digicam. This is what I came up with...

If you guys want any of the pics as background, PM me.

and the VW...

Thanks.

Canon S40. All pictures shot in manual. Used about a f/2.8 on near pics, and f/5.2 on far pics. Shutter speed at day was 1/1500-2000 and nite was around 1/10-1/5.

How about this then?

You can use Image...Variations in PS to add color.

The style isn't so bad actually... I just hate the finish on them. It's so dull with no shine... and when you've just gotten done washing/polishing/waxing an '03... the first thing I notice is how much they contrast against the rest of the color/finish on the paint of the car

Yeah that is true. But in the sun at some angles they do tend to give a glint of a shine here or there. But nothing like the 01-02 rims.

I guess maybe b/c of the way Anthracite kinda makes the wheels blend in a bit better so i don't really notice it.

On white the contrast is different i'm sure though.

If you had the option would you chrome em or is that overkill?

I saw someone w/ chromed '03s... not sure if I was feelin' it or not. And ya, the white amplifies what I don't like about them. On black/silver/anthracite the color of the rims at least compliments the body paint. I'm still up in the air about rims... definitely going 18" tho.... Centerline RPMs... Enkei LM1's... or the Kazera KZ-A. Any of those will at least be lighter weight and better looking on a white car than my stockers...
