Soaked Interior = Replacing the clock, but how?

Background story:
Last Thursday I was on my way to dinner with my gf and we had to drive through a deep puddle on the way to the restaurant. Like all the cars ahead of me I was driving through slowly (especially with my cai). The pickup behind me decides he can't wait, and passes me on the left (on a two way st) and flies through the puddle. Of course on a nice night, my window is open and my car gets completely soaked with dirty water. My clothes were completely wet and there was so much water in the car that the clock had a little puddle inside of it. I won't mention the road rage that happened afterwards, but unfortunately I got no retribution.

The next day I found that three of the little lines that make up the numbers of the clock stopped working, and the little puddle in the clock was gone.

I was wondering if anyone has changed their clock?
Anyone know the part number for it?

I saw that people have changed the light behind the clock, but my situation is a little different since I will have to change the entire clock.

Thanks

This is for the clock bulb, but the process is the same. To remove the clock you just unscrew it from the dash bezel and screw the new one in. Hope this helps.

Why would you have the windows down in the rain & driving through a deep puddle?
That doesn't make sense.

I think it had finished raining and was nice out so he put the windows down. There was still a puddle and when the truck drove through it, it got the car soaked.

you're right that doesnt make sense. if it was raining, i wouldn't have my window open. It hadn't rained that day and it was a nice night, but the puddle was there because of the ton of roain we had recently here. my window was also only down half-way.

i would have to disagree if you are saying its my fault for having the window open rather than the guy speeding by on the wrong side of the road.

does anyone know the part number for the clock? im wondering if im going to have to buy the entire dash piece to replace it.

I see, I'm just surprised you had that much water come in. Must have been a big ass puddle.

Yes, very expensive. Try a junk yard close by and see what you can find. It will be the same on a TL also.

I've hit puddles (not even terribly deep, a few inches, though big) in the CL with the purpose of making a splash(I'm easily entertained), and splashed LARGE amounts of water higher than the roof of the CL, so i could easily this happening. Driver is an a-hole, i would have chased him down and let him know what he had done.
