So I've been thinking about mods...

And I'm trying to figure out what I'll do first (when I have the money):

Tint (35% sides, not sure about back)
Comptech exhaust
CAI (Zephyr I guess?)

I love the car. I just reached 125 miles on the odometer. One thing I noticed is that it's really quiet. Not necessarily a bad thing but it'd be nice to hear the exhaust, ya know?
Then again I haven't pushed it yet, so I dunno what it sounds like when it's above 4k rpm.

I'm thinking the tint would be something I'd want done right so I'd have to be willing to spend some $$$ on that and have it done at a place that garauntees the work (probably Car Toys down in Rockville... I've heard they do good work). It's also something I'd want done SOON because the sun really bakes the inside of the car I drive to college every day and I'd hope tint would help ease that on the CLS when I start driving it for more than just pleasure.

The intake and exhaust seem like logical first real mods to me. What do you guys think?

How much do you think each mod should cost me (so I know if I'm being ripped off for that tint or exhaust install)?

Tint should run you around $100-150. The base tint price i got from all the places around me was $110 but got it upgraded for better heat blocking which made it $135 w/lifetime warranty. Hope that helps

No more scratches thanks to the dumbass who walked on my car and had to pay to have it repainted.

Since these cars are designed first and foremost to be luxurious they are by design quiet. The Comptech exhaust system give the car a nice "voice" so to speak without any undue droning. Many have said that the car has almost a V8 type rumble at certain engine speeds.Jens

Has someone been taking laxatives, diuretics, and dieting?

Perhaps some secret polishing and blueprinting...

I did a 4.9, but that was downhill...
