So I replaced IACV, I still have choppy idle!
I just replaced the transmission, and had them replace the IAC valve at the dealership. They said the car ran fine, they even had two people drive the car. I drove it 30 min. and it was idling funny. It changes RPM, from about 500-750 only occassionally. The problem got much better. I also believe it has something to do with my Heat because it does it more frequently when my heat is on....O2 sensor maybe? I did search but no one replies back on how the problem was fixed
Last night the car was at idle and it lurked and shut off like I popped the clutch...But my car is an automatic...
Thnx in advance...

It has either a MAF (Mass Air Flow) or a MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, not sure which. They measure the amount of air going into the engine, very important for metering the A/F ratio. The IAT (Intake Air Temperature) is used for the same thing. I'm not entirely sure but cars with MAP sensors may not have IAT sensors.
My old Legend had similar problems that were caused by a failing Crank Position Sensor. Eventually it started dying every time I hit the clutch if I didn't keep the revs up. It was stupid expensive to fix too.

Bring your car back to the dealership while it's acting up and show it to service writer.....let them take care of it.

No cel has ever been thrown, this problem is persisting. I have taken it to the dealership and for some reason the stupid fu*king thing acts perfect. I now have a swishing coming from one of the belts. Incredible because they were all changed 5 months ago.
The car recently cut off on me after going through one of its fits, I was wondering if there was an air leak somewhere then it would idle funny everytime I guess. Its started before the headers got put on and after my CAI
I do hear more air lately, but I thought it was normal from the headers I put on...
