So I floored my car...and right before it shifted...my ! light flashed!! WTF!!!

Why the hell would my ! light come on when I floored my car. It happened right before the 1st to 2nd shift. If my tranny goes...the CL is gone!!!

The ! light flash because your tires broke loose right after the shift.

yea i dont know my intake lol 7 hp , i dont man it also happens on turns i think its a lack of tread or just tranny slowly slippin away, btw was ur car running cold or was it warmed up this only happens to me when its cold, the car seems confused when cold, hard to explain...

u also regained a few hp you lost by going back to smaller rims for the winter...larger rims require more power to spin....also, honda engines are a bit notorious to make a few more hp as they gain more miles on them

My Taurus did that recently too. It set off the traction control icon (which is a spinning wheel ) on the 1-2 shift. I thought it was cool.
