So far broke BOTH Polarg's!!!!

Okay, granted I got one in without mishap.., but the other one still has remains in the bulb housing, THEN, while attempting to remove the other one IT BROKE...so now I replaced the 19169's, and have Polarg remains in the housings. The Polarg's were they way to go though. Definitely brighter and well-matched to the HID's.

Where did you get them? I am looking to get some online without getting killed on shipping charges...

speedwerks.com had them last time I looked.
I don't recall shipping costs, though.

I was going to go thru the complete exterior bulb list and replace everything with Polarg goodies (exept the hids and the hi-beams)... until I calc'd the cost...something like 260 pesos...I'm still in pause mode.

Smooth...
You broke the 18watt 'fat' bulb/small push-in Polarg puppies (A140-10- M6)? Super White color?

I've got the ...169 PIAAs but they are weak; to be kind.

The Polarg 'fat' head bulbs are also available in amber. I'll eventually try an amber one since the color will be good for being 'seen' by others, but I'll need to wire them so they'll come on with just the key or with just the 'parking' lights on.

does anyone know if the Polarg M7 or M9s will fit in the corner lights, or just the M12 and M14s?

yo ushould get a rotary tool or something and bore that hole out about a millimeter...the bulbs slide in and out much easier.

i'm going to switch to the halogens i found...they have almost the same wedge connector, but you ahve to spread the pins about a milli to get it to contact right. they're as big as the stock 5w bulbs, but have the black pointy tip as on halogens.

i had regular fog halogen bulbs in the housing and it melted the housing slightly...i'm hoping these are small enough (and far enough away form the surrounding housing) and that the temperature is lower and won't pose a problem. they're as bright as the 36w raybrigs i had in, but i'm hoping they won't burn out as quickly 'cuz they're halogens.
