So, Which Color?

I had some money down for an R32, but cancelled.....going with the S60R. Yes, I'm all over the fucking place.

Just want some input on color....go bright or go quiet.

Titanium Gray

Passion Red

You guys rock, appreciate the quick feedback.......I take peoples opinions real seriously on car colors (I'm very indecisive with stuff like this).

I hope the car turns out to be nice, was considering the S4, but I don't want to spend the extra money.

CO-CL-S, my Acura is PDG, once is enough

Very hot car, but its a little small for me to be a daily driver.

Without a doubt though, that's a cool ride.

beltfed, congrats buddy on the ultimate decision u make

If you're going for attention and getting noticed , get the red. However I like the gray b/c its subduded, and w/tints, it'll be a classy sleeper

good luck man

Ooooooooh...I moused over your thread and I thought you were talking about the Skyline too...

I would go gray. Red seems a little too feminine for a sedan...especially a Volvo.

Once again, you guys rule......just got back from the dealer, Ti Gray it is (assuming they can get me the car, I'm #4). I know the assitant manager very well, went to HS with him. That should help a bit, I told him not to take me out of the market if he can't get me a car. He assured me he wouldn't and would keep me updated, and anyway, he knows not to fuck with me.

I think Bright silver is a bit played, darker grays not so much.

Thanks very much......It certainly is replacing the CL, I need change, no matter what it is.

I definitely will be sticking around, besides wanting to decapitate a select "few" members, there are many people here that I respect and find totally cool. Also, I wouldn't exactly call the Volvo forum raging fun (at the moment anyway).

Seriously, this is my favorite forum that is non gun related.

when my pop brought the Volvo wagon in for service (Hassel Volvo in Huntington), he got the S60 2.5T manumatic...now i'll b honest, i dunno much bout the S60R and whether it's stick/manumatic, but on the loaner he got, u can control every gear unlike our 1-2 auto...when i tried it, i freaked out since i'm so used to the 1-2 auto...likewise, i freaked out when i shifted from 2-1 going 15mph...so if u get the manumatic, it's a lot of fun!!!

well, i seem to be in the minority here....i like the red. The Volvo's line look very "coupy" and the red compliments that. that's my 2 cents.

And BTW....i thought you meant R32 skyline!! I was going to ask a lot of questions. Dammit.

gray, gray, gray.

damn that car looks good.

i wasnt that fond of the new volvo styles, im more a fan on the C70, S70 T-5, 850 T5-R.....

however, seeing more and more pics of this car, it's definately growing on me. those wheels look hot, and the front bumper is more agressive.

what tranny are you getting BTW....

edit: glad to see that you are sticking around.

Thanks folks, I have always been a Volvo fan.....just never really considered getting one (C70 for awhile, but that didn't pan out).

I wouldn't get this car in any other tranny besides a 6spd.

Hopefully there will be some aftermarket for it, I'll do the usual shit (intake/exhaust/chip).

But at this point, I'm just hoping the dealer gets the allocation.

I could go leaving deposits all over the country side, but that's a PAIS....paying for it wise and getting the deposit back wise.

i've seen many ECU upgrades for the other models, so im sure there is going to be much aftermarkey support for this one.

i was reading that the stock boost setting comes in at 14.2psi, that's almost 1 bar. i wounder if it could handle 20psi >;]>;]
