Snow chains on the CLS
Snow chains on the CLS
Sorry to bring this up again. It's been bugging me in the back of my mind and I want to know whY! Why is it the CLP can have chains and our TYPE S' can't? Don't tell me it's Rim size, cause u can always get a new set of rims and mount chains on them, no? Why is it in the manual this isn'texplained as a possible alternative. Does it mean, not matter what tires, the CLS cannot have chains? What gives?
That's what gets me, why dones't ACURA say in the manual that chains are not a problem if clearance isn't a problem. Why don't they put that in the manual instead of making us sign a waiver?
Unfortunately, certain places in Cali (Lake Tahoe, for example) requires chains when the weather gets snowy.
Not that it makes a difference to me in FL, but I had an extended stay in NorCal a few years ago.
