Those cars are so tight!! I rented one when I was in Paris 2 years ago and drove it to Dijon (about 3 hours south of Paris). They are pretty fast with the turbo, and they handle pretty good. The dealerships are really nice and clean in the city to.
I guess it takes a certain person to drive this thing around and not feel like a canned tomato.

 

I have seen one in this area (a red one), but I see more of the Toyota ECOM (used by UCI Engineering dept.) and the Ford Th!nk (because every Ford division except Ford is in Irvine).

 

Yeah, I've seen that ECOM too! Really cool...

I work around Barranca and Pacifica btw. Saw that Smart on Pacifica...

BTW, FORD's building is almost finished!

 

Yeah, I saw one on the road in VA and they look not half bad. Everyone was giving it stares.

 

Those cars are ALL over europe... My wife and I were just in Zurich, Paris, and London. Apparently, it's a co-venture between Swatch and Mercedes????
