Drivers of the new Mercedes E-Class, launched later this year, can sit in the most advanced car seats in the world, thanks to a joint development by Bosch and DaimlerChrysler.

The 'drive-dynamic' seat's contours are changed according to information received from sensors around the car. When the car is driven hard, the system automatically increases air pressure to inflatable side bolsters in the backrest, providing more lateral support for cornering. For less demanding motorway cruising, the side cushions soften for a more relaxed seating position.

The seat, which will be available as optional equipment for driver and front passenger on the new E-Class also includes a massage function.

 

Wouldn't that be kind of dangerous to recieve a massage while driving??? I mean.. aren't you suppose to go.."OOOh... yahhh... that feels good.." and then driving ??? i don't knw...

Apparantly......yes. But at least the front of the W211 Eclass looks a bit exclusive.

 

Hahaha... Liability about massages while driving. That's what we need in the USA. Then we would be for sure be the country that loves to sue each other the most for the universe, not just the planet any more.

fuk that is a badass car. the previous e55 were SUPPOSED to compete with m5's, but IMO they did not do a good job. However with the amount of power and tech upgrades they are gettin, im sure they will be much more competitive. (though the m3 is STILL better than the clk 55amg )
