SImple question

I was just wondering if the H & R OE sport springs are just as good in ride quality as the comptechs. I also want to know if the H & R's are just a bit lower then the comptechs.

Thanks a lot------ guys :P

Comptech drops your car 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back
H&R don't make springs specifically for 2003 CLs but they drop 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back (i think)...

Apparently, the Comptech and the Eibachs are pretty close to stock ride

I think he meant H&R

Just to clear up his reply... the H&R OE springs only drop your car .75" front and rear. The drop specs he's talking about is for the H&R Sport kit. I have the H&R Sports and the drop is more like 1.75" front and rear as it's a pretty even drop.

The Comptech kit gets you the best drop and the best ride. If you go with the H&R OE, the ride will be close to stock.. but the drop is minimal. The H&R Sport is more of a drop then Comptech, thus the ride is a tad stiffer. Comptech is right in the middle

Hope that helps

thanks juniorbean

to add to that, if you are thinking about the Eibach pro kit as well, it drops 2 in the front and 1.6 in the rear.

For both the Eibach and the H&R Sport, you will probably need a camber kit in the rear for sure, a maybe one in the front...whether you need them in the front will ultimately depend on your alignment afterwards...it varies with every car.

Long story short, your best bet is with the Comptechs

Sound right juniorbean?
