Simlar Alarm questions
I'm looking into buying a CL-S. I hated the alarm on my current car. It would beep, & flash the light swhen I locked it, but when I unlocked it, it would do nothing. No sounds, no lights, nothing. The range was just horriable too. Many times I yanked on the door handel only to find it was still locked. I got so fed up, I spent $300 on a real Viper alarm system. That solved it! Now on the CL-S does the alarm do anything when you unlock it? Flash lights, chirp etc? How's the range?

I am NOT doing the chin thing! I was told to do that with my current car(BY THE DEALER!) Forget that! So I have to press the lock button 2 times for it to beep for locking. Will it always beep after that, or do I have to press it 2 times always?

Once is just for silene lock. 2nd one is a 'confirmation' beep and side lights. The chin thing is optional, you know just to extend the range. will work on any transmitter even aftermarkets.
