well i just got home (1:10am)...and on my way home this kid in a civic starts staring at me and he yells "WHATS UP!!!" so i reply..."nothin much"...the streets were empty so we get to a red light, i see him looking at my car, and he looks over to me and asks me, "what do you got in there, a blowdryer? lawnmower?" lol... i just started laughing, i told him i have the equivelance of 3 civic engines in there...foolish ricers dont know why i even bothered with this guy to be honest with you guys, but lets just say i won lol....really was not much of a race, then of course like any other ricer would, he zooms by me as i shut down (was plenty car lenghs ahead) and he throws his signals on...:shakehead

no joke, about 5-10 minutes later, i see a green hatchback civic with some mods on it...i pull up next to it at a red light...i look over and realize i know the guy, he comes into my job all the time...he tells me go on green..green hits, he never got infront of me, i got him by about 4-5 car lengths, gave him a thumbs up and proceeded on my way home...

just thought i'd share with you guys...i usually dont street race, too many cops and it just doesn't feel too safe lol...but my days with my cl-s are numbered to very few, so im just trying to enjoy it a bit before its gone...

I think if they had a motor swap it would be a diffrent story. I knew a few guys with motor swaped civics and imo they were pritty quick

 

swapped civics can be damn fast, but at the end of the day...it's still a civic


That first civic sounds like the kids around here. He's probably tellin all his friends he beat you.

 

lol def don't sleep on the civics,my boy got a turbo bubble and raped,i mean destroyed an s2k.
same guy (before turbo)with just the b18 dohc swap, chipped, exhaust,intake and gutted beat a cl type-s(auto).

anyway with that said nice kills.....

 

Civic's can def be fast buit you'd have to agree that about 80% are riced the hell out!

Cant stand them myself but thats life.

especially the ones with steel rims and an 8ft metal wing!!!
