My Evolution Design Brushed Aluminum Sills with the S just came to my desk. They were packed so well it took like 5 minutes to get 'em out of the box and unwrap them.

I'll post pics in a few...as soon as I get my co-worker's camera.

 

Hey congrats! Now don't bend them like I just did (Bulldog01 I saw your reply before the thread got locked). Mine still look okay. The aluminum is pretty thin so it was pretty easy to get it to lay flat again. You can certainly see that it was bent though!

Yours with the red S should look great on a silver car.

 

Thanks, man! I can't wait for the weather to warm up a little so I can put 'em on. Maybe, if we get some sun and warmth like last weekend, I'll be able to do it. Of course, if I don't ever get my car back from the dealer, I won't be putting anything on.

I'm callin' again today to see if they received the tranny yet. I'm startin' to get angry about not having my car. I'm gettin' mods now, yet I don't even have my car...WTF!!!???!!!

 

can you see where they are blemished?

 

Yeah, I can see a few very small scratches, as well as a couple of spots on the graphics (not the S, though) that are smudged. Overall, I can't complain. They look a little better than I was expecting, to be honest. Besides, I'm gonna scratch 'em a little over time, I'm sure.

 

Glad to hear you got your sills and your happy with them. How long did yours take to arrive? I ordered mine close to a month ago and still no word.

 

I think he sent them last Thursday, maybe. So, just under a week, I guess.

 

Those sills look nice, I've seen them here before. Even the stock RSX loaner I had had RSX logos on the sills. The sills on the Lexus SC430 are nice too, they light up red I think. Acura should have put something on the CLS sills to begin with, it looks naked now that I see what can be done.

 

Bulldog thats so funny you don't have your car and you get them within a week meanwhile there are some guys waiting upto a month or so. I guess thats how life is

 

Yeah, I get my first two mods, and I don't even have the car.

Kinda sucks for those who have been waiting so long.

 

So he shipped them on Thursday but when did you ORDER them?

 

On Monday, I e-mailed him to say I'd take 'em, and to ask how to pay? He e-mailed me back Tuesday telling me how to pay, and we spoke on the phone Wednesday or Thursday, I believe. Mind you, this was after a good few weeks of playing tag to get the pics e-mailed to me an' all. But, in the end, once I decided to buy them, it took a week, or so.

 

Bulldog thats real good I believe I waited just around 3 months for the sills. Im not joking either I bought them in the original groupbuy and thats how long it took.

 

Hmmm...guess I lucked out. Maybe, because these are the "slightly blemished" sills just sitting around???

He wants me to send him pics after they're installed, cuz he doesn't have any install pics with the S. I'll try to use a different "camera" than the one I used for the pics earlier.

Now, if I can just get a car to put 'em in!!

Jeff. I think his e-mail is the one on the site...apsignworks@hotmail.com. He may be the only one who answers e-mails, but I'm not sure. I just e-mailed the address with a general question, and he replied, and the whole thing went from there.

 

Bulldog I just E-mailed you my address send them 2 day delivery and I will make sure they are installed on my car and take as many pics as you and Jeff like.
