silicone

in the directions for clearing out the headlights it says you need silicone. my question...where the heck do i get silicone and what kind do i get?

It's clear silicone caulk. Comes in a tube. Available at any hardware store. Try Lowes, Home Depot.

I wouldn't go clearing your headlights unless you have lots of time and patience. It's very easy to end up with a foggy headlight.

I've seen a couple headlights that have been cleared.. and if the silicone isn't applied evenly, it looks pretty ugly..

Do you have to heat up the sliicone??

i think you can get it in the auto dept. at walmart too, except it comes in a smaller tube (like toothpaste) rather than the caulking size tube.
