Folks (The real Chris here),


I am issuing a public apology to the board for congesting it with countless posts regarding my whereabouts, orders, deliveries, intakes. I have had things that had to be addressed and I did so in the only manner I knew at the time. Those that know/knew me also know I was not out to intentionaly damage anyone financially and have been making reparations over the course of the last two weeks. The timing has ABSOLUTELY zero relation to RockDog as things started significantly before his recent barrage of posts. I handled matters in a poor method and can not change that now, in retrospect I would. I can not do much but take acountability for my mistakes and irresponsibilities, and finish refunding the last 3 individuals. I have made gargantuan mistakes and and taking the consequences of those mistakes , rectifying what I can, and apologizing for what I can not. In regard to Tom, he has every right to be upset, irritated, angry, disgruntled etc.. however things are wrapping up and whatever action he wants to take after he recieves his refund is at his own judgement. I have been writing email back and forth and it has become a pissing match and I unfortunately finally lost it after he refuses to subside hostile and unwelcome communication. He too is upset and I can respect that, at 10AM he will recieve his refund and that is where my communication with him stops outside of any legal litigation his attornies and mine want to conduct. I apologize once again to all the members and Wayne(I will contact you offline)for the result of this entiure experience. all outstanding matters are being addressed and expected to be finalized within 2 weeks in respect to refunds that are outstanding (3). I enjoyed my time on the board but obviously under the circumstances I will not be posting any longer. I wish you all the best.

I don't know all the details, and probably couldn't handle them anyway. I know I could never try to start up something from scratch, like the CAI. I'm sure everyone here has learned from this (some more than others). I think it would be a mistake for you to no longer be involved with this board, as I have found your input most valuable. But that's your call, and good luck.

Please do not hold any grudges against Eclipse23, Fotis, Spiroh or anyone else that has been fired at as a result of my actions. They have not been in contact with me until I called Eclipse yesterday and have had no knowledge of what was going on and my whereabouts. They are some of the nicest folks I have met and talked to on here and I feel badly for any criticizm they may have been subjected to as a result of my actions.
They had no participation in my absence and have only done what I would hope one day to regain their trust and friendship.

All I ever wanted was a refund, look what it took to get it. Welcome him back folks. Junior, you can close this now since you obviously dont't care about fairness. God forbid any of the members are able to respond to him negatively.

And by the way, I would really like Wayne G to come out publicly with what went on between them. You know Wayne, it's really unfair that I am being viewed by some as an asshole, or complainer. And you are now going to reap the rewards of my hard work. Just so you can save face, or keep from being embarrassed. Now I am going to use one of Chris's lame tactics

I came to this board looking for knowledge and fun, and ending up getting pretty involved.
There were those who were screaming about stickers. Since I had the means and access to the equipment. I spent my (family's) money to buy the supplies in order to provide them.
I spent time after work matching colors to the cars, and making them up. I then offered them to the folks on the board, for little or no profit.

Ernie needed them pronto for his meet earlier this year. I worked late on a Friday due to a snail mail mix up, which turned out to be a significant other foul up. I did an overnight shipment on Friday, for Saturday delivery to the hotel where the meet was located. (You know the one where Chris finally showed up and everyone forgave him.)

There was much trouble the few days after due to a miscommunication. But because we BOTH talked about it. We are friends today.

Shawn S. called me out on the board because his set was missing a "dot" He got to new sets within a week.

I offered Amir, a free set because of something cool he did once, he declined. And paid for a set.

Chod got a free set because I thought the work he did on the faq was really awesome. He didn't ask. I just offered.

Mark S got his in the mail, but due to some problem with heat or something. He couldn't get them off the backing paper. He got a free set no questions asked.

A mod bought 25 sets, that's right 25 sets. So he could put them on windshield of CL owners around town. I got him a discount, which I lost a little money on, because I thought that it was so cool of him.

These are just a few of the people who were taken care of as soon as possible, regardless of what else was going on in my life. Many times for free, never a question ask about authenticity.

The Canadian members have gotten a discount sort of. I charged them the same amount, and took the hit on the shipping.

NOW! When I had gotten enough money back from sales to recoup my cost. I decided that since Xephyr seemed to have his shit together. I would spend my money with a member of the board. Kinda, keep it in the family. Of course you all know how that went.

A call went out for money for a server fund. I immediately paypal'd Soopa $50.00. After a couple of weeks of some of you 30,000-dollar luxury sport coupe drivers, coughing up a measly $5, and yet still complaining about the speed and access to the board. I bought (2) 256 Meg PC 133 ECC SDRAM, and had them shipped to Soopa. At a cost of about $170. That's roughly $220, I alone put into the new server you've been enjoying.

There's more, but I've made my point and stooped to Christopher Koncur's level of "look what I have done for the board"

Now for the first time I feel dirty, I need a shower.

You're not the bad guy. I've been following this problem since it started. Chris is a hypocrite. His initial letter on this thread contradicts this letter that he sent you. Chris is a sick person. I'm glad he didn't get the CARB certification becuase that's what prevented me from getting his CAI.

Hey guys how about we let bye-gones be bye-gones! Rock Dog, I'm assuming you got your money today, and Chris, I'm assuming that your dealings with Rock Dog are over with now. So how about all of us, including the both of you forget that this ever happened and lets get back to a car forum that all of us have enjoyed for so long. Since the problem between both of you and some other members has been resolved, lets just forget about it. I'm not a moderator, but I think it would be a good idea to close the topics that deal with this whole fiascal, so it could be forgotten about.
I'm not taking anyone's side here, I just think this place is better off without all the arguments and stuff.
We all know that this forum has brought a lot of good to many of us, from being informative, passing time, and meeting some cool people with similar interests...so lets get back to that.

Well, I'm about as outside of this as I can get, so here's my impression.

Xephyr was wrong. He didn't communicate, and only finally seemed to do so after Rock got up in his face on the phone at work.

Rock was wrong to make it personal and go after Xephyr at work. Contact made, probably poor judgment about how you followed through. (IMHO)

Xephyr seems to have publicly apologized, and even said that he would do it differently again.

Rock STILL hasn't gotten his refund (I believe).

So, if Rock and others who are needing a refund get it, and Xephyr has publicly apologized and made amends, then where's the on-going angst? Whatever happened to the golden rule? "Do onto others as you would have them do onto you"? IMHO, you forgive and move on if amends are made - just don't make the same mistake of trust again with that individual. No reason for the chastising to continue. Forgive and forget. If it were me, like I said, I'd just never trust him again. If you wish to do business, do a C.O.D.

Lame excuse again. And frankly I think it is a lie or some self-rationalized bullshit. I think this is probably the fourth lame excuse from you.

Those of us who run real businesses or have real life responsibilities know that "gee, life has been tough" doesn't cut it when dealing with business customers, mortgage companies, tax authorities, etc. And frankly it doesn't cut it here either.

Pay whomever you owe money to and go away.

You are beginning to spiral down into a bad place. Stay to the high road, which you have been on and either receive the money or quietly go to the police, FBI and small claims and prosecute. Garnishing wages out of small claims will be pretty easy to do.

The Rest of you tree-hugging, pantie-wastes who are buying Koncur's shit send me your money for the all-new "Guy with a really long account name" Headers. I designed them last night and they work great. I expect at least a 100 hp gain and for only $999. I'll send them right along to you!

I really don't have a place to be syaing anything in this, but i don't believe we should let by-gons be by-gons. Rock Dog has gone through so much shit trying to get his money back, and right when he gets personal with Chris he gives sum panty waist apollogy and tries to say it has nuttin to do wit the timing.

Chris seems like quite the seedy charachter and we should warn other victims, ehem clients about the way he does buisness.

 

IF I had the money,I would still by one of his CAI's, only because it's the best deal by including the BYpass valve. To bad, now it's a CAI off the shelf. You know the old saying. "Bird in Hand" Good work DOG now "please" lie down

I'm not sure where you're coming up with this stuff, especially since I've never said anything either way. To be honest with you, me and most of the other mods are on your side with this whole deal. The only reason I posted that I'll be watching this post is b/c we're trying to watch our bandwidth usage here and we only need one topic open bashing Chris, not 3 or 4. I do however find it ironic that you don't like the fact that you're the one taking heat on the board for be an a$$hole or whatever, then you go and attack me out of no-where, with no reason whatsoever. My reason/reference was kind of veiled. My "attack' came from my what I derived of you closing the other post, "who he owes?" I had noticed that Chris finally showed up (on this board) there. And I was going to make mention of the fact, that it was indeed him. Before I could You closed the thread rather emphatically. This has happened to me before and I jumped the gun here. Thinking that just when we get him back out in the open, other members are not going to be allowed to ask him to be accountable. Be it for money, friendship, business prospects whatever. I sincerely apologize for implying that you we're closing it out for any other reason than what you have stated here to fore. Part of my "payback" is being able to see him have to answer to his peers.

Junior, please. I was wrong. And I really do feel badly about:
1) Misinterpreting your actions better
2) Jumping the gun with accusations
3) Doing it publicly before contacting you privately.

As for the true color part, I just meant that you're taking heat for not being a nice guy, then you jump on me for no reason in a not nice sort of way. Seriuosly, i dont understand why we shouldnt flame Xephyr. LOOK AT WHAT ROCK DOG HAD TO DO TO GET A REFUND! Thats WRONG! Nobody should go to the lengths Rock Dog went just to get a refund. And nobody should stick up for a company that takes peoples money from the internet, and sends no product/refund/even any communication FOR SOO LONG!.

That is just WRONG. Regardless of the circumstances. Anybody that is not agreeing with Rock Dogs actions, obviuosly has no clue what it feels like.

What he did was wrong, and just cause he took 5 minutes with a thesauruas to write the board a little message, doesnt mean we should forgive and not flame. Life is gonna be like this, and if you are the type that would forgive someone that did that, your just gonna get SQUISHED by crooks in life.

Rock Dog... you did the right thing. And no the fact that Chris came on here and appologized doesn't mean we should forgive and forget. If only he could have sent the people he owed money to an email every couple weeks that would have been better than what he did in reality.

The only explination I can think of for what Chris did is that he thought he had gotten away by slipping into the shadows but in reality he left too many bread trails behind and Rock Dog was able to track him down. Only after that does he come on and post his "appology". If I caught someone in the process of trying to rip me off I would have done exactly what Rock Dog did, which was do everything in his power to track "Chris the weasel" down.

As far as leaving this off the board, I think its important to air it out here because this is where Xypher/Chris' business was run.. on this board. This thread in a way is protection for newer users so they know what has happend with Chris in the past and hopefully prevent it in the future.

Finally I will reiterate the last thing we should do is "forgive and forget". We should use this as a lesson and remember what we have learned from it!

 

I have one more thing to say. Chris, anytime, anyplace, be it a judge or jury. Or even a lie detector test (as questionable as they are) I challenge you to a "truth off"

You bring your paperwork, I'll bring mine. Not to mention the phone logs of how many calls to NJ I made within the area code and prefix of your company. I will bring my notes on how I was able to track you down after you disconnected the cell phone, stopped accepting mail at 301 Browning Lane, took down the website, and either stopped or ignore the 3 or 4 xephyr@'s you had setup.

And I bring this up for one reason and one reason only. As of last Thrusday, no one had heard from you. Once I aquired it ( and I could not find it anywhere on this board, and 2 of the people, I assume you are claiming had it, say they did not) I called your work number twice and left messages (and not nasty ones) Stating you need to contact me, I want my money. After a couple of hours I started calling through a series of numbers near yours. When I got a human and asked for you, you answered the phone. Why? Because I was transferred from inside. You were stunned to hear it was me, there was a nervous pause. And then you started taking down information like it was nothing more than a Penney's refund. That was Thursday, after 4 months. Then when I contacted you again and left a message, regarding the court papers I was filling out in from Camden County Civil Court.. The flood of pity email starts to flow. Any scenario other than that is an out and out lie. And if you state otherwise again, I will make you prove it legally.

Come in here and whine, come in here, try to convince these people that you were on your way back before last Thursday. But that is a desperate little man trying to cover himself legally. You need paperwork right now, and your creating as much of it as you can.

I have one more thing that bothers me. A few weeks after your disappearance, during your time of great turmoil and personal loss. You updated your website to offer the “NEW” PT Cruiser Cai? Wazzup!!!!!!!
