Silenced a G35
It's been a while since I've posted in Street Encounters, but thought I'd share this one. I like the G35 and see a lot of potential in them, RWD, 6 spd, 290ish HP, etc. I've even considered one from time to time, but can't lose the CL.
Anyway, on my way to work this afternoon, I was cruising normally when I look in my rear view mirror and this black G35, lowered, wheels, tint, looking good comes running right up my sphincter and braking hard, I was puckering to say the least and gave it some gas to help the poor basturd out of a jam.
We go around a turn that merges onto one of the expressways and come out of the turn WOT. He seemed to think he was going to blow past me. I gave it just enough gas to stay beside him and in my own fashion, was looking at him during this moment. (I love to do that, just like the WRX a while back) We got to about 110 and slowed back to 60ish because of traffic. He pulled beside me staring hard at my car. Then it was on again, this time while staring at him for a few moments, I decided to put it on him. I nailed it all the way and phhhhsssss, 10 lengths before he even knew what happened.
I slowed back down as my exit was coming up and he blew past me and didn't even bother to look.

No, he didn't see that coming. The BOV is fairly loud, but doesn't make that whistle that the ricers like. You can hear it though.
It wasn't a fair race, due to the mods between the cars, but he seemed to have that attitude of smugness and "Im too cool for my car." When this thing reaches full boost, 10psi, it just flat out accelerates. It responds like a typical turbo car, slow at first then .. bam, gonnnnnnnne. I need to get someone from the area to shoot some vid of it in action. Anyone interested, just PM me up and we'll try to hook up.

Is it a different kind of blow off noise?
I had a friend who had a different valve, didn't chirp like the ricer/f&f ones, but made a non-toned hissing noise; almost like a freaking semi-truck. lol.
