sideview memory

OK i did a couple of searches but came up with nothing.

I just had my Passenger side view mirror replaced, i can use the controls to set the mirror where i want. it will stay there the whole time i am driving it and even after i turn off the car. However if i wait a bit and open the drivers side door it will move back to its original top left posistion. Has any one else ever had this problem?

After moving it are you pressing the red button and setting it to the memory for the first or second memory slot?

I am not talking about the seat memory but the actual sideview mirror... it is moving on its own.

do we have memory mirrors?...

I just thought we had the back-up option.. when the car is in reverse the mirror goes down so you do not get curb rash.

Dshearon--whomever replaced your mirror put the componets back together wrong.

^ actually yes, the mirrors are connected to the memory settings. So maybe you could try putting the mirrors in the position you want them in (along w/ your seat of course) and save it to one of the memory settings.

Yea, We have the back up mirrors along with postion mirror memory. Depending on where your seat is the view for the mirrors will be differnt so it saves them all.
