its been like this for a while. i was just too lazy to see what the deal might be ... any ideas?

blwon fuse .. hmm
. . . does it happen when it gets to hot like the auto-down button? NO probs here!
Prob. the switch, move it ever so slightly right to left @ center and hit "reverse" and see it if the mirror dips. The contacts could be worn. Check the fuse and then put a volt meter on the switch in the door and see if your getting power. Same with the line to the mirror. Thats a start!
