make sure that the mirror controls are set to the center position. if they aren't, the mirror won't tilt down.

If you set the control button in the middle. I think your problem is in the right mirror.

Yeah if you're sure the selector switch is in the middle then its time for a trip to the dealer.

most likely the right/side mirror actuator...that is if u say the switch is in the center position. Take it to the dealer and have them replace it under warranty.

Man, I had this happen when I took my CL-S in to get my A/C fixed. When I got it back the right mirror wouldn't pivot automatically in reverse anymore. I was like :sqntfawk: Acura, I take the car in to get something fixed and they break something else. Shady!

It took me a few days, but I eventually investigated the problem more closely right before I was going to take it back to them and bitch them out for breakin my mirror. Apparently someone moved the switch, so I moved it back to the middle and everything was fine. hmmm, good thing I checked it out before headin back to the dealer.

check the owner's manual on the reverse operation. i have the manual and i remember something about circumstances when the mirror wouldn't tilt down in reverse w/ the mirror switch in the center position. i can't remember the details.

note this may only apply to the manual. not sure.
