Battery for CL-S

I did a search, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for, so if this has been covered, sorry.
I need to replace my battery and I have a small 250 watt amp. Is there a certain battery you guys would suggest for me, or will just any battery from the store do.
Thanks for your help guys.

You need a certain size. I believe the battery size for our cars in a Group 9, I would suggest an Optima since you're replacing it anyway.

Do we really need a more expensive battery just for a 250 watt amp?

no

I've got 2,000+ watts and my diehard gold runs everything just fine. I don't know how much the optimas cost, the die hard was about $90 including disposal of my old one and they put it in for me.

Any battery would be fine for a 250 watt amp though. Go get a $50 diehard at sears.

If your under 100,000 miles, I believe Acura gives you a battery for 1/2 price. I would go check with the dealer.

I've seen RedTops for about $100.

These are about $150.

Thanks for the link guys, the Sears in my area is selling the redtop for $80, so I guess I'll go with that if they have it in our size.

That's the point we are trying to make...they won't have it in your size. YOU have to tell them you want an Optima D34 type battery, instead of telling them the make & model of your car.

That's what I meant, but thanks for the clarification.
