Side Mirror Never Adjust's back to original position!

Did you ever notice when you put the car in reverse and the right mirror goes down it never will stay in the position that you had it before.

I tested it by putting the side mirror all the way up and left it like that. Put the car in reverse and the mirror went down. Then when i put it back in drive it goes back up but not in the spot as it was before.

happen to anyone before?

dunno bout that, but a sure-fire test would b go into Reverse, back to Park, then click on yer memory button and see if the mirror moves.

It goes back to the position you saved in your memory for your key fob, not where it was if different than the memory

Wow!! Never thought about that...

I was wondering the same thing, and noticed it the other day when I was messing around (I prefer to have the side rear views facing away from the car, just ask yourself this question. When had the side of the car ever came up and surprised you???? )

I prefer to have the side rear views adjusted so that I can see apx. from the back of the quarter panel, and two lanes over on the passenger side. Unfortunately the passenger side barely goes over far enough.

I guess I need to remmember next time I make the adjustment, to save the seating memory. Good information for the FAQ if one is ever written.
