Side Air Bag Warning Light

My side air bag warnign light is flashing intermittently when the car is on. It started happening a couple of weeks ago. It almost looks like a short. What should I check first? Is the connector under the seat somewhere? This is for an 03 CL-P. Thanks.....

first of all was someone sitting on passenger seat? or is there anything on the seat?

On my car if i put a bag or a book, or someone leans on the door, i get the side air bag light, otherwise no idea.

Do some search on the forums, I bet it was already covered

Its true. If my woman is in the seat and leans forward the light comes on and goes away after 2 seconds.

Ditto to the above. It's a safety feature so that the air bag will not go off if someone is leaning against the door.

Did a few searches and came up empty that is why I posted. I always search first. It started when I laid a small ladder over the front seat. It might have weighed 25 pounds max. I'm thinking sensor or maybe a loose connection. Thanks for the reply.
