Should I get the supercharger?

I'm thinking about keeping the TL-S for another two years ... then handing it down to my younger brother. I'm thinking I can use the Charger for a couple years, and then sell it for 60% of what i paid for it brand new .. I'll also piece out the icebox and headers at that time as well...

does that sound crazy?

I've come into a couple thousand that i can add a couple more two in the next four months or so ... hence my new query.

It will help me keep my car a few more years too.

good luck trying to sell a 2 year old supercharger for 60% of what you paid for it new.

A friend of mine just bought a used s2k 'charged for 75% of what it was new.. and it runs great ... don't see why i'd have a problem... i know MOST people on this board would love to get the charger, but just don't want to pay the up front $5000 .. I think $2500-3000 would be much more attractive..

I'm not even worried about the tranny anymore,... I'll obviously get the tranny cooler .. so that'll make me feel better about things.. hell, MOST of the time I'm cruising at 70-80mph on the highway (most of mydriving) .. so it's not like I'd be beating on the tranny all the time

It is awesome in the 6-speed... ask Brad (Modaddict), (Mtbiker), Glen (Redrider) how the AUTO feels...I because I never rode in an S/C Auto, yet..

I saw the vid of redrider pulling on the other guy .. and I was ... in "need" of a s/c immediately .. had i not seen that video and heard that intoxicating whine ..i prolly woudln't have thought about this recently.
