Should I get Konis or Tokicos?

I am going to go order H&R Sport Springs tomorrow and I want to buy shocks and have them installed at the same time to save me money and time. I heard that the Koni Yellows are from the Accord. Is this true? If they are from the Accord can they be used on the CLS with no problems? I know for sure Tokico makes shocks spcifically for the CLS. Help me guys.

The Konis are great. I haven't even adjusted them yet and they're awesome.

The Koni's will fit a 98 - 01 Accord V6 coupe. Our suspensions are the basically the same. I have them and they RULE!!!!! I only adjust them when I go driving through some TWISTIES!!!!! Check the part numbers for your springs, same as the Accord I bet!!

Ride Quality / Performance ?

Ok, tell me again exactly how the KONIs or aftermarket Shocks differ in Ride Quality / Performance.

1. What do they "feel" like seat of the pants ?
2. Ruffer Ride / Smoother ?
3. How many Adjustment "notches"
4. IF one doesn't want to Lower the Car with Springs, how
do the Konis or any other after market Shock Increase ones
"driving experience"

Appreciate Replys !

The Koni's can be adjusted anywhere from stock mushy, to bone jarring hard. The have infinite adjustment since there are no predefined notches.

They can be adjustments about 2.25 turns but the instructions do not recommend going past 1 full turn.

I have my springs set to almost 3/4 a turn up front and a little past 1/2 have turn in the back. My car rides rough on bumpy streets but I have very little body roll and the car handles great.
