1. Is the Weapon R the only one out? Does AEM have one or are they expecting to have one?

2. Does it have the same sound as a CAI or at least close to it?

3. How easy is the install for a short ram? Do you have a resonator box to deal with, like the Accords have or is it just a straight forward install?

4. If any of yoou have one on, do you recommend it?

AEM and Injen have short ram

AEM does have the Short Ram. The sound will be louder as the intake is closer to you now than before. This is from my experience with an RSA short ram and a AEM CAI in my previous Prelude.

The installation is easier than the CAI, if you leave the resonator in; however, it's about the same if you decide to remove the resonator.

IMO, if you want maximum performance, I would get the CAI.

 

Won't do CAI as (per Silverkinght) I already have 2 left hands. Sheepishly, I will partially admit to that.

Don't want to have to mess with removing the resonator for the CAI.

If I get the short ram, what do I have to do to the resonator. Do I seran wrap it? Ha! Ha!

Here my econo-shorty ram air. It costs about $100cdn. I'll might go with the AEM CAI next spring.
