Definitely the cold air. It also sounds better. The heat from the engine bay will not help the short ram.

Cold Air is definately better than Short Ram. More cooler air to your engine.

read the test that Austin519 did:

he tested both short ram and CAI w/ his car. No real dyno numbers but "butt-hp" dyno is close enough.
