MZM (Howard Ln), Protech Performance (McPhaul rd. near Lamar)....etc.

Find a VAFC online than trying to get them overpriced at a performance shop.

oh yeah, both places are runned by cocky and somewhat arrogant people that may charge up the ass but in a small town like Austin, that's all we have. They know their shit though. Anyone else want to chip in and recommend a better performance shop that has a dyno? I'm sure that's not the only places in Austin but sure seems like it.

I'd like to start this thread up again if possible. I'm looking at getting my car dyno tuned and I've called 3 or 4 places here in Austin, no go. Does anyone know of any place in Central Texas that dyno's Acuras?

^change the way you're asking the shops.

most shops can dyno an acura. the problem you will find yourself in, is if the person operating the dyno knows how to tune your specific car with a specific software.

you have to have the specific software first. then a "tuner" that knows the software and the car will "tune" the car via dyno

Thanks for the heads up. I thought by asking the shops first I'd save myself a trip. It's funny being in Central Texas, I would have thought you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a place that would dyno.

I don't recall the shop name but a there is/was a guy named Mark there who would know where to tune a Honda/Acura... had a 2JZ-GTE powered z31 called Streetfighter. Shouldn't be hard to find. Best I can do sorry... friend of a friend.
