I have a 2001 CL-type S with about 48k miles on it. I noticed the front right shock was squeaking. The dealer checked it out and said the front shocks need to be replaced.

My question is how often are shocks supposed to be replaced or if you had your shocks replaced, when did you have them done? I was just wondering if my shocks lasted the normal amount of time (4-5 years) or miles (48k).

They need to be replaced when they quit working...sounds like you are ready.
