I thinking about getting the Konis for my Comptech Springs too. I heard that they're great shocks. I like the fact that they have a lifetime waranty too.

I was only going to use the Konis on the front and stock shocks in the back though.

hmm it coudl just be really rough roads or maybe that the stock shocks you hae happened to be low quality and busted under the strain.

I have Koni/Neuspeeds on 19s. The Yellows are set to the softest on all 4 corners, however, don't expect a stock/soft ride. On 19s, you'll feel the little bumps b/c the Konis respond so well and keep the ride tight and controlled. It's not bone-jarring, but it all depends on a person's comfort level. I can tolerate the ride because I do find it quite smooth and controlled, however someone else may not think the same thing. Oh, and watch for potholes or kiss your 19s goodbye.

my stock strut blew out with ground coilovers in about maybe 1000miles. liquid was leaking out, leaving a puddle on the ground. my car was lowered about 2.5" all around.

I wouldn't stick with the stock shocks with that much of a drop.

Might have had bad shocks to begin with. Or the install was messed up. If you didn't have the springs you might have gotten them replaced under warranty.
