Shift Knob Boot question

Shift Knob Boot question

Just bought a s2000 Shift knob and i love it but the only thing is my boot just hangs there! What can i do to keep that boot tight around the stick

You have to make something work. Be creative. There are several post & pics of the s2000 knobs on CL's. I used a thick washer & a zip tie. Others have used rubber stopers.

man i never knew the brushed aluminum looked like that...i dont like it. it looks like someone took sand paper to it. i like my homemade aluminum trim. no scratched looking.

sorry for the hijack......couldnt help myself.
love the knob though

Damn allout i kinda rigged up lastnight! It looks better, but i think im going to have to do it the way u suggested

I have the TSX knob, it has perforated leather, I thought the S2000 was perforated. Isn't that picture the TL knob?
Anyway, I used a rubber washer on the shaft, holds the boot up fine. Some use the clamp/tie things.

Get a boot collar from a older integra.It slides over the nut on the knob,then zip tie it to hold it up on the shaft.
