Yea, it does work out pretty well. Ideal Gas Law, PV = nRT

Wow Scal-boy sir, you are kicking some major a$$ here. You remember the DSM "remove the lower screen" debate! A true DSM follower... Hehe...

I wonder what is going on with Dave Buschur and Sean from Exrteme. Remember them 2 fighting all the time about who would get in the 9s first? Dave just could not make that thing run below 10.01 or something like that very close to 9.99s. Till Sean started braking evey record. Then Dave started the RWD outlaw project (I wonder where that ever went).

Thanks for the good info.

Oh, what was your best ETs with the Talons?

From what I have seen, the Bushur's RWD Talon is getting it together and about to break into the 7's, 8.03@172.83 so far. The Glazar Extreme Motorsports teams have a couple of stock bodied cars in the 8's.

I do remember bantering bewtween the two camps many years ago back when 10's were the objective...

I never ran the '91 Talon at the track as this was back in '92 when I owned it. The '96 GS-T was primarily driven by my wife so I could do limited mods to it (just the afore mentioend intake, IC pipe and bleed restrictor removed). But even with short times in the 2.3 range I was running 14.8's @ 95 during the middle of August. I always meant to get back to the track in the cooler fall or spring but I always ended up taking my car instead.

I don't think it is the DAS, MAP, MTI or the WTF filter. I think it is the winter gas that they feed us snow dwellers. I think we have this same conversation last winter right after we discussed how our mpg's had gone to crap...

I was told the same thing by my dealer the other day. They had seen several Acuras come in, with this particular problem. Basically, when this happens, the car just stops running and the check engine light comes on. If Soopa had something like this, he'd know it for sure, as he wouldn't be able to go anywhere.

Fortunately, oil in the gas tank is probably the "best" bad thing that can be put into a gas tank. Now if it were rust...
