Exclamation Serious Malfunction

When ever i start my car and its cold, where I installed the crank pulley is a loud grinding/ nock sound..... Could it be the auto tensioner..... I seriously have no f!#$% clue. I took it to an auto shop and they dont even know. I got it done at acura dealer. Do they warranty there service....

Can someone please help..... Ill put a video up of it tommorrow... ANYONE!

Oh hell yeah, I I think for one year, parts are under warranty. I bought a set of Headlights that fogged up, So I breought them back detached from the car and they exchanged them. Give it a try, Hopefully they won't blame the headers, intake or Pulleys.

I'm done...

This is my disclaimer for my own protection from any harm or misleading information regarding me as a contributing Acurazine member. It is in no way intended to offend anyone including ROCKSTAR.

When this CL belonged to me it was kept in prestine running order from top to bottom aside from a "possible" IMRC problem and a few dings. Ask anyone who has seen it. I took very good care of the car. After all, it was my baby.

The only reason I say anything about the IMRC is because there was a time where it would only work intermittently. A few months before selling the vehicle the problem seemed to stop so the issue never even came to mind.

That said, again, the car was perfect.

The reason why I'm posting this is because it seems like every post you make, you indicate that the car is screwed up in some way, shape, or form. Let it be known that the car wasn't screwed up AT ALL when I sold it to you.

I bent over backwards for you while you were trying to buy it. I waited and waited. I even declined 3 potential buyers during this time. Once you bought it, I also went over the ENTIRE car with you explaining anything and everything about it I could possibly think of. I even told you to check some of the header bolts now and then because I wanted to make sure you understood that a couple of them could possibly come loose (XS Power crap bolts). I also told you to come here, to Acurazine for even more information and any future improvements on the car.

Why does any of this matter? Because I feel like many of your posts make me look bad as a previous owner. Maybe they don't and maybe no one cares but I do. It was my car. And I cared for it. Not any more.

The other reason this matters to me is because I'm done. You have called me, texted me, and PM'd me repeatedly for my advice. I have given you my advice on many different occasions regarding many different things but it will no longer continue. The motive for this is because I don't think you listen when proper advice is given and I don't believe you are taking very good care of the car from following some of your posts. This is also why I've tried to stay out of your last couple of threads. Why ask for advice if you're going to ignore it?

Again, I don't mean to offend you but I'm no longer getting involved. That is all.

I seriously think the kid freaks out every time he hears a weird noise.

Advice to Rockstar, check the entire forum before posting. Sounds like you could have resonance. Plenty of people have aftermarket headers and most still have this problem. I get this sound from time to time with my aftermarket headers. Chill out man, Helmet took good care of his car.

So did he get the crank pully installed after he bought it from you Helmet or was it on there when he bought it? Just curious. I hear where you're coming from though, nothing worse than someone that you give advice to and then they go and ignor it completely making you look bad. Sucks. I'm sure you babied your car just like most of us on here do.

No, it wasn't on the car. He purchased it and had it installed himself.

Another tip, if you're mechanically challenged to work on your own car. Have a pro do it.

Doesn't it say he had it done at a dealership?

Not all stealerships are pros. But they do warranty their service. It should be at least 90 days for most dealers so take it back and get another mechanic to work on it.

So thats why I asked you stuff. So no, im not tryin to make anyone look bad.... This is actually quite rediculous (spelling?) Ive just wanted good advise from this site, and I have got plenty, this site is great.. But some need to chill out. "Not to affend anyone in any way shape or form"
I just dont know as much as everyone else in here... Thats why I ask.... Take it as a compliment!
