On a custom manifold the only thing that is machined are the flanges and possibly an adapter for an external wastegate.

nope the exhaust/turbo manifold has to be tig welded/mandrel bent to fit in the engine bay and to leave room for the turbo etc..... made from scratch from pipes

Um actually you are wrong.

The few kits that are in existence were based of Comptech headers. They weren't created from scratch.

How, or maybe better yet, why do you know so much about this?

its not exactly top secret information. Anyone who was around when allmotor2000 built these knows what is in the kits.

Because the turbo systems produced haven't been some top secret operation. Pictures and information have been shared for 4+ years now. There's enough information and pictures on this forum that if anyone wanted to turbo their car it could be accomplished.

Morons...

And if you have to ask how much it'll cost to open up your own shop you have no business opening up a shop in the first place.

Would definitely be interested whenever new info is available on the turbo. Hopefully wouldn't cost too much $$$$ though.

I honestly see this thread going nowhere.

Unless the OP comes back with some info this will stay locked.
