i got a sensor to do it, and i'm sure it wouldn't be a problem considering that the acura's alarm system is pretty much your standard run-o-the-mill alarm system with a negative trigger. The only problem is finding the damn harness, which i think (and hope) is in the same location as in the tl's.
all the sensor consists of is a ground, a power, and a trigger which gets spliced to the stock trigger. some sensors have dual modes (ie extra wires), but those will still work, just without that dual mode feature (you still only hook up to 3 wires).
my only problem is my car is sitting in a garage in pa while i'm in ks for another freakin' 2 months.

just kidding. it's a shock sensor so if someone bumps the car, it'll set off the alarm.

Ungo SAA4054
Shock and Motion Sensor
it's $39.95
I'm pretty sure you can find another one for less at other sites and even at automotive stores. I just didn't have the convenience, and after not buying anything for 2 months due to time and lack of places to spend money, i went on a spending spree (bought gold emblem/grill kit, dash trim, strut tower bar, this sensor, and piaa xtreme whites for road lamps).
too bad it'll be another month before i get to install any of this crap!
