Sema style lip wing for CL?
Hi everyone,
I've been talking to a guy over @ that says he might be able to custom fab a trunkdeck wing for us. I know that I'm not alone when I say that I don't want the stock spoiler, and can't justify paying so much money for a good m5 spoiler.
<-- that is the style of spoiler that I'm trying to go for.
The guy I'm talking to said with 10 confirmed orders of $150 ($50 deposit) it can be done.
I'm trying to work out with him how the fitment would work. I'm hoping 3m tape will be strong enough as I know I dont' want to drill into my trunk
. I'm also trying to see what materials would be used in order to get a pliable and easily bendable wing (although if it's perfectly fitted there wont' be a need for it to be pliable).
In any case, not a big deal. If this doesn't happen, I'm happy w/ a wingless car; but I'd love to get this spoiler. Please show your lovely faces

Couple things Tim -
1) What shop are you talking to? Andy (xkrazix) had once attempted to do this custom SEMA CL lip for our cars as well back in the day but failed because it looked nothing like it.
2) I think he should have at least one prototype wing first before anyone puts down any sort of a deposit.

check out this website...is the same wing that the sema cl has but its called CL Deck Wing on their website. look under wings for acura cl 2001-up.

The other option woudl be to have $500 to fabricate the one off and each wing would be sold @ $100.
