ya know, i was just thinking that it is time to get rid of the CL-S, last week... but I think I am still going to intercool it and keep it for another year or 2... then buy an M3, I always wanted a Beemer, but they are pretty expensive to MOD....

Steve,

Would be a very sad day to see you go. Your research and development and informative posts have been greatly appreciated. I personally appreciate the header install and the assitance with the Mugen cooling mods.

We have a minvan in the household as well. Bought a '04 Honda Odyssey EX-L last year.
Minivans are a very practical vehicle and can haul a lot of stuff. I am sure the Sienna will come in very handy with two small ones and all the supplies you have to carry along for a vacation or outing.

I will be hanging on to my TL for a while as it still serves it's purpose and can be used as the family hauler on occassions.

only 2 kids and you got a minivan? damn! lol. my ex-gf had 2 brothers and they did sedans and my family is basically the same way. i personally HATE minivans and cant stand SUVS (well most). But anyway, thats my opinion, but with a family you need to compromise, good luck.

Steve, this caught my eye, and I'm sure there will be lots of room for mods under that hood.

Damn it is really sad to see you go. I hope I can still come here and still get some valuable info from you. But everyone's right, family comes first and if this is what you gotta do then this is what you gotta do. I hope I can still purchase an IC kit from you later on down the line. Good luck with everything and whatever your next car will be. How bout the new 05 G35c?

Naw, I couldn't see myself doing that. But there was a pristine 2002 M5 at my BMW dealer that looked pretty nice.

I was thinking about the IS300 but my wife doesn't like it as well as the E46 3-Series. I would have to agree with her also. Since this is a move to something we both really like, why not just hold out for the 330i.

But that is not to say the IS300 is out fo the question. The pricing difference is hard to look away from.

Its real sad to see someone or your stature depart with his SC A-CL, after you have put numerous hours and relentless effort, but their comes a time, place, and reason which makes all the sense in the world. As said by fellow posters, family comes first. Would like to thank you for all your help, advice, and knowledge you have given A-CL. Wish you all the best with the BMW if that happens to be the car you get.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with mini vans,, I also have two kids and since 1997 I have had a dodge caravan. My oldest is now 15 I we just bought him a stock 1992 4dr. Legend, he'll be driving on his own. We still went out this week end and looked at the Honda 05 Odyssey touring w/nav,,, $35k invoice (friend owns a dealership). Even after the kids turn into teens you haul more stuff than I thought I would ever do. Mini Vans rule but it's also nice having fun CL-S .. Good luck with raising the girls. Might want to rethink the new RL,, 4 wheel drive with one of your SC set ups Whooooooo Hoooooooo .

If I just wanted a different car there would be many choices out there to consider. But I need to weigh Jennifer's input on this as I want her to be happy and anxious to drive the car. I don't think the RL would appeal to her.

That is still planned as I did not expect this to be a quick sale. I'm still working on some parts in the mean time.
