Nice choice... Although, I'm not a big convert. fan. Just go for the good ol' coupe. You'll be much happier. And a bit faster in the 1/4 mile too.

You'll probably get 24 or so. Do you have Navigation?

dont get a vert....buying a vert M3 is like buying a vert vette...it TOTALLY decreases handling performance and power...it adds weight and reduces the stability and rigidity of any car...bad idea....hold out for a coupe, thats the only way to go....ever wonder why you dont see Z06 convertibles?? because like i said, convertibles make shitty race cars...straightline OR autocrossing....

If you're from the West Coast, I'd take a vert! Especially a M3!

12 replies and NO ONE answered his question

but even tho he said 'intellectual' guess, i'll try to make an attempt...

umm since its used & with 10k miles in less then 6 months... i'd say uhhhm... u SHOULD be able to sell it for LESS then what u bought it for......ya - that sounds about right :P

but u didnt mention w/ or w/o navi... if its WITH then i'd say around $26.5-27k... should be more but considering how shot our resale value is. Put an ad in the paper for around 28-29 so if u negotiate down to 27 it'll make the potential buyer feel like he has done a great job bringing the price down

You should be able to buy a brandnew TypeS without Navi for around $30k. Why would you pay $29k for a car with 10k miles on it? Navi or not, you wouldn't.

you'll probably get 26k or 27k private sale...w/ navi maybe 28k....a thing that's in your favor is that they arent making these any more, so that may factor in somewhat....either way let us know what you get....good luck

If it's got navi, I would seriously consider buying it.

THANLS FOR THE REPLIES GUYS..ESPECIALLY SHAN..;-)
anyways/.there is no navi....and yea thats wat i thought i should expect...
As far as the vert issue is...i dunno..those m3 jus look so much better top down...buit i agree...u loose performance and handling ...i guess its a sacrifice. But like i said...the one i want is alrdy on its way...so if am to back out of getting a vert..i might not get the color and options i want.
Thanks for the replies everyone..and yea..if anyone interested really i would like to talk bout sellin my 6 spd. Jus leave ur name and number at kamsal29@yahoo.com

PH.

Although contrary to popular belief, the convertible M3 and vette have barely any more curb weight than a non-vert.

If there is a 2004 CL, then there will be more 6 speeds.
