Kirk, you probably should mention it to the insurance claims adjuster... Might mean a couple more bucks in your pocket.

I had a problem with my memory buttons a couple of days after I received delivery of my CLS. Seems it was just the connector to the parking brake that worked itself loose. On the 6spd, the brake has to be set in order for the memory seats to work. Don't know if it's the same w/ the auto's, but it might be something similiar.

Same exact thing happened here. Got rear-ended and it went out. Took it in and Acura said they will warranty it, but one of the parts were on back-order.

If you hold the memory button in a few seconds it will work without the parking break. You have to keep your finger on it till you get to the set position.

I'm not finding the answers after searching but this is what happened this morning: (01 CLS 60K miles)

1. Started it this morning and wanted to move seat to memory position 1 and the memory seats are not working period. I check the fuse and it's not blown

2. Check engine light never went away after starting vehicle
3. Same for Srs.

So no memory seats and 2 lights indicating a problem. Anyone know what this could be before I try to reset the ECU? The car is running fine and there is no idication it could be the tranny (car shifts fine at all points).

Oh yea, mods should merge all these memory seat threads. Theres like 7-8 of them. Thanks!

Andy, not since I took the headers off months ago. I haven't been running it hard either. No new mods, just a new battery like 3 weeks ago. I mean the car runs fine. Its just sitting in the garage right now. A lot of ppl seem to have similar issues but with dif variances.
