Scalbert & Jens: Advice on supercharging my CLP
Steve and Jens....you two seem to be the resident experts on the forum along with a few others. Anyone else who can offer advice and opinions can chime in.
So is this actually feasible? I'm no expert, but the only thing I can think of that's different between the CLS and CLP is the throttle body (this is just for the supercharger). If it is possible, what would I need to do to fit the S/C into my car? Should I get the 5AT kit for the CLS/TLS or the Accord V6 kit?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Well it is more than than a throttle body .Cams , intake ,ecm programming, ignition curves ,lot's of stuff .I installed aHonda Accord blower from CT onto a 3.0 CL that was a pretty cool car when it was done .Snoop around the 1st gen room the gentleman that own the car does post there .

As mentioned, it has been done by XkRaZiX and wasn't too difficult from what I recall. I beleive the AV6 kit is closer as the CL-S/TL-S have the VSA throttle prior to the TB which would eleminate some parts needed.

His car is not completly running right yet! well since the last time I saw his car at his crib and spoke with him... the belt was not connected, so the car at idle would pretty much stalled out.

I have a cl-p and I put the v6 accord s/c on it and it bolts up find, perfect fit. But running right is another story. i had all kinds of problems with the car dying on me. if it idles to long your check engine light will come on and the ecu will go into "safety mode" and die.I was thinking maybe the esm was wrong since it was for an accord but, I went to comptech because I live like 30 mins away from them and I talked to shad who does all the work on cars and he installed another esm for me and it ran right for alittle and a few days later in would have the same problems. The problem with the cl-p is that it is a ulev and not a lev like the accord and the type s, thats why comptech did not market the s/c for the cl-p. It could probabaly be tuned right if you had boost controller or vtec controller but you are going to have alot of headaches down the road with the s/c, thats why I decide to take it off and I sold the s/c to a friend with an accord and it worked fine.. another thing is the power is not worth the money. I raced a friend with a stock type s and I couldnt even pull away from him but thats because my car wasnt running right but I not to sure about that. if you have any ? let me know because I stop by comptech offend, just to look at all the cool cars that are there espeically the s/c nsx's

IMO, it can be done and done right. The emissions ratings wouldn't make too much of a difference and BTW, this is a mechanical device and boost is controlled by the gearing ratio of the blower to the crank. No boost controller would be needed or could vene be employed.
What code was set?? What was the ESM voltage set at??
I suspect the TB idle adjust screw was needing a turn or two. Also, there may be a slight change needed in the base fuel pressure.

Sounds like I'm definitely going to need your help with this Steve.
