i was walking to my car in the parking garage on campus and i notice this car which i thought was the new e-class wiht some hot girl driving. then i notice there was only two doors and i was like it cant be. then she drove off and i see clk 320 on the back i was like that car is pimp. i thought they werent out yet but i guess i was wrong. its a really really nice car.

 

I have seen many on the road in SF. Personally, I am not a big fan of the new body design. I am not saying to doesn't look good, but I like the look of the old ones better!

The new design looks kinda generic and the front end looks 2 similar 2 the c class and the c coupe, thus cheapening its effect...I'd still pimp it I guess

Also, they have been out 4 a while now, I've been seeing them since august here

I prefer a much cheaper G35 coupe way more. I really think Benz are for older people who think they are successful enough.

 

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and style is a completely subjective thing (like G35 being better)

anyone who likes the new E i do not understand how you cannot like the CLK.

you have to go see both in person.

i saw about 3000 of them at the USGP... and the E and CLK are IDENTICAL in the back... and the CLK and SL are IDENTICAL in the front.

so wtf. give it some credit.... haters.

 

The seating position in the new CLK is much worse than in the 1st generation ... not very good for tall people. The dash seems to be unusually high, which is great if your slight of stature and can take advantage of the power seat features ... but again, if your tall, you'll find the sunroof b4 you feel comfortable. ALSO, the back looks too much like a Volvo foy my liking. IMHO, the 1st gen CLK has a much more agressive stance than the new model
