looks good! Congrats on your little project! I'm definitely digging those rims, but it's time for a drop.

I would drop it but the rims are 8.5' so they will rub like hell. i love these wheels i can't part with them.

just because they are 8.5 doesnt mean they will rub. it all depends on your offset and tire sizing.

i think you need a drop for sure. even if its a slight drop like tein h-tech

Post a DIY! I've wanted to do this for a while. Did you just wire them up through the parking lights?

It's pretty easy, just wire the ground and power wires to the parking lights. No biggie...you don't have to be electronically inclined to do it.

yes, the problem i ran into was that the fog lamp on the passengers (rt) side had 3 wires comming out.... 2 red with a green stripe and 1 black. What you have to do is connect the 2 reds together and take the remainning red from the fog lamp and wire it into the red/black wire from the blinker.
But on the drivers side is much easyer their is only 2 wires, black and a red with yellow stripe, cut the red/yellow and run it to the blinker.... blinker is the came color for both sides.

hope this helps... it took me a little trial and error.. but i got in done in about 1hr
it just sucks that you have to take the hole front end apart.

You shouldnt need to take the "whole front end" apart. I did this with just removing some of the weather stripping or whatever that stuff is called it the wheel well..

If done right, it doesn't. They are wired to parking lights, not turn signals, though that can be achieved as well.

My first car was a 94 esscort GT but My SVT was sweet. God i loved that car sooo much. i repainted it so nobody had my color. Put a custome exhause on it.. sounded like a V8 mustang and alot of little things. i was pushing 275ish and 240 tork. it MOVED for a 4 door but a drunk driver took her from me at a red light and he had no inc. i wanted to kill him but i was in the back of the stupid ambulance. if i can find a pict i'll post it.

The wheels are FITTIPALDI's. They do stick out 1/2 inch so I'll lower it when i get some back up wheels.

Yo for that plate did u fill in and paint the plate holes or did your car just never come with them drilled?

I like what you did with the plate - Also hate the way it ruins the front end in it's stock location, i was thinking of getting one of the Evo style mounts and tucking it down low and off of to one side or something.
