I keep hearing this rumor that honda is going to make one, anyone else know anything about it?
Or is this total BS?
Just hear say from guys around here...

that'd be insane. Awesome if it were true. You'd have a car that could go toe-to-toe with 330i, g35, 350z for nearly 10-15k
Sounds like something honda would do!!

Sounds like bs, for one they don't need an engine that big for a prelude, would outpower the s2000. only coupe i've heard about is the s2200 which is iffy, supposed to debut in october at the tokyo auto show

Just read an Autoweek magazine where they profiled a Ford Focus with a Mustang Cobra SVT engine and RWD. For only $70K out the door.

Zapata: I think ludes are more than 10-15K? And I also think a RWD lude with the CLS engine would run way faster than the 330i. I don't think you can put the 330i in the same group as the Z speed wise.

...But for honda it's about 1 out of 8 (accord, civic, cr-v, element, insight, odyssey, pilot, s2000), for Acura it's 1 out of 7 (RL, TL, CL, RSX, TSX, MDX, NSX) That's counting the SUV's w/ VTM 4 wheel drive into the total.
If you don't count the non-FWD suv's into the totals, Hondas lineup is made up of 4 FWD (accord, civic, insight, odyssey) and 4 non-FWD vehicles (cr-v, pilot, element w/ optional 4wd, s2000)
It's split 50/50 between fwd and non-fwd.
My point ?? Honda isn't making just FWD vehicles anymore. Adding another RWD (or AWD using VTM technology) car to the lineup wouldn't suprise me.

My apologies, what i was trying to say is if the lude cost around 22-25k.

I doubt they'll be bringing back the 'lude anytime soon. First: Because Honda is working pretty hard at portraying the Accord Coupe as its replacement. Second: Like heyitsme mentioned, there are rumors of a S2200 coupe. They don't need two performance coupes.
