Getting on 476 from lansdale exit i see this guy on my ass. It's a massive on ramp 476N and so you need take the right line or the car will get massive body roll you'll loose speed. So i always hold it in third gear at about 30 mph. He's still on my ass and hit the line perfectly today and as soon as i break the apex I go WOT and take off. A car passess me on the left and i'm a good 600 yards ahead of him so i let off and he keeps comming. I pass the guy on the left and the guy behind me gets stuck in traffic. I wanted to make this guy a spec in my mirror so i let it fly hit 120 in 4th gear and i'm not going any where to fast. To my suprise i can still see him and am not gaining any more. We drive for about 10 miles or so and he's behind me. I pull over to the right lane and he comes up on the left. I want to play with him so i drop it into 4th doinng about 85mph. He tries to pass but i slowly and i mean slowly pull ahead and he starts to laugh. I jump the left lane and he jumps to the right and he pulls next to me. We both give the thumbs up. The toll plaza is coming up so i pull next to him to complement his older gen Maxima. I saw that his driver side rear tire was severly low and informed him. He asked me what year my car was and asked him the same he said '93. I said holy shit man NICE car! I told him i was suprised that he kept up so well from 80mph on and said thanks We went our seperate ways after that. Here are some specs on the '93 max.

Nice kill, but damn...I never would have thought an older MAxima would keep up like that.

 

Now, he kept up from 80 mph my very tall 4th gear. Other than that I toasted him. Exiting the ramp at 30mph 2k in 3rd gear he was right behind me and i pulled hard leaving him pretty far behind but i didn't make him disappear, at which i was very surprised. Granted he took a very bad line out of the turn but even on the straight away i was pulling in 3rd and had i dropped it into 2 i would pulled even harder. Nonetheless, it's a shame that he's 5th gear is almost as good as our 4th.
