About how long does it take to install the rt cat & about how difficult is it? Also what size are the bolts? I need to get the tools because I let someone borrow mine and they are out of town. I'm gonna try to install 2morrow. Thanks!!

 

The time to install all depends on how difficult the bolts are to get off. They are usually impossible to remove by hand or even with air tools. More often then not you'll need to torch or cut them off. I recommened you get new hardware so you can destroy the old ones and not have to worry about it. When I got my r/t cat from excellerate he sold me a specific hardware kit that wasn't included, maybe you should look into that. Ohh yeah don't forget that you have to tap out the holes on the exhaust pipe flange were it meets the end of the cat towards the rear of the car. Because the new flange on the r/t cat has larger bolts that wont fit into the stock pipe, unless you make it bigger. Please post up how you like the performance of the cat because I keep hearing that you lose some low end torque but gain lots of top end power....
