This is a blue wire that is located behind the air filter housing in the engine bay that is not connected to anything and at the end of the blue wire there is a connector that mechanics use to connect the car to an rpm guage to get accurate rpm measurements.
I connected my autometer tach to this blue wire by splicing the wire before the connector so that the mechanics could still connect their devices to it. I'm guessing this is why you need to know where the blue wire is?
I will take a picture of it when I get home for you to show you where it is exactly.

After looking in the engine bay I realized I used the blue wire connected to the ECU instead of the one in the engine bay because i was having a hard time passing a wire through the firewall opening.
I took some pics of the engine bay if you still need to know where the blue wire is, so if you need the pics let me know. If not, the one connected to the ECU will work just fine good luck!

Here is the pin info about which wire it is on each model of the CL (MT/AT), it's different between the automatic and manual.
Manual Tranny ( it's the White Connector (E) Pin 3 - Blue Wire)
Automatic Tranny ( it's the Gray Connector (A) Pin 19 - Blue Wire)
Can someone please verify this to ensure that i'm correct before this poor guy goes and cuts his ecu lines.

I remember when I looked in the HELM's Electrical manual in the schematic section where it shows which wires connect to certain gauges, it label the "RPM Output" from the ECU as "A/T A19, M/T E3"
That's where I got that information from. I also checked in the rear of the manual where it shows the diagrams for the connectors and it was also labeled as E3 in that section as well.

Planning to get a supercharger in the near future and I wanted to hook up the e-manage and play with the timing for now. Right the jumper setting are:
SW1: 7
SW2: 8
SW3: D
JP1: 1-2
JP2: 2-3
JP3: 2-3
JP4: 1-2
JP5: Off
JP6: Off
JP7: Off
I just hooked everything thing up tonight and the car didn't run right at all. The other thing is, the ignition fuse keeps blowing, so i disconnected the wiring for the ignition. Definitly need some help with this

That is close but I have one setting different, JP2:
rotary settings 7-8-D
JP1 1-2
JP2 1-2
JP3 2-3
JP4 1-2 (on)
JP5 off
JP6 off
JP7 off
Mine has been running flawlessly since November with these settings and my harness. I have also had it in a TL-S without problems using a straight through harness. So it can and does work, now you just have to find out why it isn't for you; lots of fun.
Did you hardwire in the whole thing?? If so that must be a mess of wires under there. Anyway, I would trace down each and every lead to be sure it is correct. Just to be sure, below are the ECU connections for the E-Manage excluding the single tap on Connector A, No. 19, NEP signal. I need to complete these with the appropriate connections to the E-Manage which I probably will just with the E-Manage color designations.

DJ, this is the forum for the 2G CL. wiring will be much different and most of the people on the original discussion have not logged into the site for some time i.e are long gone.
You'd probably find some help looking in the 3G TL forum for a service manual that will detail the information you are looking for.
