rotors ? ? ?

Hey guys, I know our rotors are problematic, but I did some searches and the only way I can see to tell if they are warped is by taking it apart. If my car is "stammering, and stuttering" if you will, as I brake is that the rotors? or possibly alignment?

what kind of book says you gotta take it apart? lol you can definetly tell when the rotors bad if the steering wheel starts shaking when braking hard

It's most likely your rotors. Mine was doing the exact same thing until I had them resurfaced.

^ouch resurfacing should be a no-no. resurfacing just means the shave the rotor down so its smooth, so you end up with a thinner rotor and if you drive your car "spirit-dly" then you'll just end up with a warp again or worse....

just upgrade the rotors and pads

It's just temporary. Money is pretty tight lately.

yup.. best is bbk. our portly cars just don't do well with such small brakes. any shimmy at around 60mph is probably the rotors.

Speaking of brake size, what's the diameter of the front and rear OE brakes vs. the diameter of those in a BBK?
