rotora rotors on ACP.com

damn dealership wanted $480 to resurface my rotors. Welp, that just tells me to get new ones now since that would have been my second time doing it and I would just need to replace them shortly afterwards anyways.

I saw the Rotora Slotted rotors on ACP. com and both the front and rears for a pretty good price. (not sure what other prices are out there, so they seem cheap to me)

Is that just a simple replacement or do I have to do other upgrades or whatever?

Thanks

I think there was a post about dealers ripping people on the rotors, not sure if they said what would bolt on as a replacement.

That link is for the rears, the front are 172.00. You can also get Brembo blanks (not slotted or drilled) from tirerack.com for $100 for the front pair.

right, I just posted that link for someone to look at what I was refering too. I know the prices are different for the front pair and the rear pair...but more of my question is if I can just purchase these and replace my current set without any other mods. or even the other ones you suggested thru tirerack.

i would suggest also getting new pads with the new rotors, but you would have to.

Yes, Raptor. Rotors and pads are all that is needed. Keep in mind that this new set-up really won't improve stopping distances much, if at all, but brake fade should be reduced over OEM.

I have ebc's front rotors and greenstuff pads all around. Braking is definitly better and brake dust is half compared to stock. Very happy with the set up.

that pisses me off when they give you outrageous #'s like that. i was quoted i think 140 for the fronts, but they did it under the tsb anyway

I have to get around to getting my Rotoros and Axis put on--it's just been too damn cold.

They do look sweet, though--very nice quality.
