i am trying to buy new 18's for my car so that i can avoid the spacer( 17's if possiple-i want it as close to stock as possible). the guy i'm dealing with asked for a template so that that he could test fit them and let me know if it would clear. he told me to check rotora's website for them, but ii didn't find anything. does anybody have a template or know where i can find one so that i can email this guy? thanks

NiteQwill sent me one a few years ago. I'll see if I can find it when I get home. PM me with your e-mail.

Thank you for the handy info on the Rotora BBK. I am planning on using the 14" Rotora BBK on the front of my CL-S 6 spd. My rims are 18 inchers with a backspace of 50 thinking this work for me. I have heard my S/C needs to be removed to facilitate a clutch and flywheel replacement. Any advice and words of wisdom on these mods would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, sq.

What about your rear brakes? gonna keep it stock? remeber big brakes doesn't mean shorter stop if the rear locks up faster than the fronts

our fronts do something like 70% of the braking, but new pads and rotors in the rear would def help

Yes and thank you for the comebacks. The rears will also need to adjusted upscale, probably to the standard BBK from Rotora. Before doing the brakes, I need to solve the clutch/flywheel problem that appears to be complicated by the S/C.

Regards, sq.

Yes - SC needs to be removed to drop gearbox out. The SC isn't really that bad to remove.

Greetings Allout, >>>>>>>>> Thank you for the heads- up on tranny removal. Guess I will have to wait for the up graded pressure plate from competitionclutch. Doesn't make much sense to install the weaker standard unit considering remove & replace labor cost which is HUGE not mention parts cost. Total bill is approaching about two and a half grand just to do this thing right. Not ready to give up yet!

Regards, sq.
